The wet check signal valve is designed for applications where water is not likely to freeze. During a fire, as a result of the sprinkler being activated, the pressurized water waiting in the pipes is discharged into the fire area. At this time, the pressure switch transmits the fire information to the fire alarm system or automatic data center. Once the pressure switch is activated, the water reaches the gong and sounds a mechanical alarm.
