Safety valves are commonly used in heating systems, radiator systems, boiler units, sanitary systems and water heating systems. In addition, it also helps protect some equipment such as pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The safety valve ensures controlled discharge of water when the system pressure rises above a certain value. These valves open when the system pressure exceeds 3 bar (how many bars varies from system to system).
